Green Apple & Avocado Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 green apple cored and chopped (peeling optional)
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup cold water adjust for texture
  • Juice of 1/2 lime or lemon for a brighter citrus note
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger optional
  • Handful of spinach or kale optional
  • Ice cubes if desired
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender
  • Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting water or coconut milk for desired consistency
  • Taste and adjust with more lime juice or a pinch of salt if needed
  • Pour into a glass, top with a slice of lime or sprig of mint, and enjoy immediately
